| Avenged Sevenfold este formaţie de hard rock / heavy metal / metalcore american din Huntington Beach, California.
Trupa a fost formata in 1999. Primul album al trupei, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, a fost inregistrat cand membrii formatiei aveau optsprezece ani.
În prezent, se află în turneul Taste of Chaos alături de Atreyu, Bullet for My Valentine, Blessthefall şi Idiot Pilot. Membri curenţi

nush..cred k potzi sa ascultzi discul 2 "WAKING THE FALL" damn..it's fucking awsome...shi discul 3 "CITY OF EVIL"..ele sunt preferatele mele...
acum,la sfirshitul lui 2007 a mai aparut un CD,intitulat Avenged Sevenfold..e foarte COOL shi acesta...dar iarashi se difera de celelalte 2...da..in genere...Waking ThE Fallen k City Of Evil se difera extrem de mult..ceia ce mie imi place...experimente!!!

| Formatia Avenged Sevenfold a recunoscut ca s-a simtit foarte intimidata si chiar speriata cand a aflat ca va canta in deschiderea concertelor din turneul Iron Maiden. Ne-am temut cel mai tare de reactia fanilor Iron Maiden. Ne asteptam sa arunce cu obiecte in noi, cu sticle pline cu urina cel mai probabil. Asa am patit in urma cu doi ani, cand am concertat in deschidere la Metallica. Am urcat atunci pe scena si ne-am trezit fata in fata cu un public care statea cu bratele incrucisate si ne privea cu indiferenta, spun componentii Avenged Sevenfold. Acestia spun insa ca temerile le-au fost infirmate de reactia fanilor Iron Maiden. Fanii Iron Maiden sunt extraordinari. Ne-au facut sa ne simtim bine pe scena, cu toate ca au observat ca aveam emotii pentru ca urma sa cantam inaintea unei formatii atat de mari, mai spun Avenged Sevenfold.
